Our Story

QuickTie Products, Inc. was founded in 1999 by Florida builders and engineers passionate about protecting homes and families from hurricanes and high winds. With decades of hands-on experience, our founders created a smarter, safer, and easier way to secure structures—delivering peace of mind to builders and homeowners alike. Today, QuickTie is trusted by professionals everywhere for its reliability, innovation, and simplicity.

The QuickTie System has been installed in thousands of structures since its inception. It has been used in wood-framed commercial, single-family, and multi-family homes. QuickTie supports new construction, restoration projects, and code updates for renovations. Our products have been specified on projects throughout the United States and beyond, including several large-scale U.S. Military Housing projects.

Why QuickTie?

QuickTie delivers clear advantages over conventional strapped and bolted hold-down systems. Our system is engineered for fast, straightforward installation after framing—helping you improve efficiency and reduce labor costs on every build.

The flexible, pre-stressed design eliminates movement by compensating for building settling and long-term wood shrinkage—challenges that many competing products don’t address. By creating a continuous, secure load path to the foundation, QuickTie minimizes drywall, stucco, and exterior siding cracks, ensuring a more durable and high-quality finish.

Each QuickTie system is easy to inspect and “proof-tested” during installation, with a pre-stress load that exceeds design requirements by 30% for dependable performance. We also offer a variety of metal connectors to securely tie the roof to the wall’s top plate.

QuickTie Cares

Empowering communities. Restoring hope. Making a difference—one rebuild at a time.

At QuickTie, our commitment goes beyond engineering safer structures. We stand with communities before, during, and after the storm. When disaster strikes, we mobilize our resources, expertise, and compassion to help families and businesses recover and rebuild.

After Hurricane Dorian devastated the Abacos, Bahamas, QuickTie partnered with local leaders and volunteers to restore Sid’s Grocery and support the Green Turtle Cay community. Our team provided hands-on assistance and essential materials, helping neighbors return home and rebuild their lives.
