Masonry Installation

Layout and mark cable locations per plan.

Tack Anchor Bolt Assemblies on foundation form at plan specified locations.

Pour concrete foundation.

Lay CMU first course with knockouts located at each anchor bolt (knockouts may be placed inside or outside).

Finish laying CMU block wall in running bond pattern.

Install 2X8 yellow pine wood top plates (pressure treated bottom plate) at top of CMU wall.

Layout each truss to ensure no conflicts with cable locations.

Drill holes in the top plates above each anchor bolt location.

Feed cables through the top plates at each anchor bolt location.

Couple each cable to the anchor bolt below.

Tension the cables to the specified load.
